InspYre is the youth work project of the Sheffield Ecclesall Methodist Circuit.
InspYre offers placement opportunities for young people training to be professional youth or children's workers with the Midlands Centre for Youth Ministry, a 3 year degree course leading to a B.A. Honours degree in either Youth and Community Work and Practical Theology or Children and Family work and Applied Theology. JNC accredited professional status is also achieved on successful completion of the youth work course.
Currently three students are on placement in the circuit. The students live in accommodation provided by the Circuit and work in circuit churches for 15 hours per week. This enables us to support youth work in five churches and to develop new initiatives.
